Hamelia Patens provides a fireworks display of colour in your garden! This tropical shrub can grow around 5m tall and produces flowers year round in the warm Australian climate. Hamelia is butterfly and bird attracting, with its every branch ending in a cluster or red, orange or yellow flowers that look spectacular in any setting. No wonder it’s been nicknamed “Firebush”.
Growing:
​ It does best when planted in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade. Thrives in high heat, making it perfect for sub-tropical and tropical areas. Perennial in tropical climates, but often grown as an attractive annual in more temperate areas
