About:
The Premium Ground Cover Range includes a superior collection of ground covers that will perform well in a variety of landscapes and home garden locations. This collection has been carefully selected to include plants which will provide interesting form, exceptional colour and consistent performance.
The small delicate leaves of Dichondra repens have an unusual kidney-shape, making the common name ‘kidney grass’ very appropriate indeed. This creeping ground cover will either develop into a low ground hugging plant or can reach a height of 15cm, depending on the position it's grown in. Dichondra repens is an excellent ground cover plant as it develops into a dense cover, holds a nice form and provides lush green colour. This hardy plant works well around stepping stones, looks great in pond gardens and can be used as a lawn substitute. Dichondra repens is quick growing, making it an effective option for major garden works or if you need to cover bare soil quickly.
